Bishop Dr. Kevin J. Boyd Sr. is a prolific preacher, teacher, and psalmist whose ministry is marked by dynamic preaching, profound teaching, and an undeniable spirit of worship. He has served as the Senior Pastor of The Apostolic Church At New Orleans since its founding in May of 1991, where his leadership has helped guide the church to become a beacon of faith and transformation in the New Orleans community. In addition to his pastoral role, Dr. Boyd is the Founding Presiding Bishop of the Church of the Apostolic Faith International, Inc., overseeing a network of churches that share in his vision for global outreach and spiritual renewal.

Throughout his ministry, Dr. Boyd has been deeply supported by his wife and ministry partner, Lady Karla Amedee Boyd, who has been by his side for over three decades. Together, they have raised three children—Kevin Jr., Kayla, and Kristen—who are also actively involved in the ministry. Dr. and Lady Boyd are lifelong residents of New Orleans and remain passionate about serving the city they call home. Bishop Boyd attributes much of his success in ministry to the unwavering faith and dedication of his family, and his work continues to inspire believers in New Orleans and around the world.
